Ah springtime. For the majority of people, spring is means it's the time of year when the birds start chirping and the flowers start blooming, while for some people- like me- spring means experimenting with new color palettes and lip colors to find the perfect "spring makeup". The eye makeup, cheeks, and lips are what really make this makeup look more "springy".
The W7: "In the Nude" palette was a Christmas gift from my mother and I have looking for a time where I can wear these bright and fun colors. For the spring time I use only a few colors to keep it simple and fresh while still keeping the colors appropriate for spring.
My personal favorite colors for this spring look are "Angel" to cover my lid, "Copper Pot" to define my crease, and for a little bit more definition in the outer most part of my eye, I like to use the color "Alice".

The real transformation for the eyes are the eyebrows and the eyelashes. My favorite eyelash product is the Maybelline "Rocket" in 'Blackest Black'. Once I used this mascara I couldn't find one that met my new standard for long and thick eyelashes. I love mixing up my makeup to see what I like the best.
For my eyebrows I have been using the Anastasia Beverly Hills "Brow Definer". This product has done wonders for my brows and I feel like they look better after one swipe of the product. The brow definer is definitely something you should try if you want fuller, thicker, and darker brows.

The face makeup is quite simple. I have been LOVING the Revlon Colorstay in "natural beige". It has great coverage and you don't need to use a lot. There are two version of the product depending on your skin type. It is really important to use a foundation that is meant for your skin type.
For the dark circles under my eyes, I have been using the Covergirl "Ready, Set, Gorgeous" which really brightens up the eyes and makes me look less tired. I blend both foundation and concealer into my skin with either the Younique foundation brush or my little pink beauty blender which gives more of an airbrushed look to my skin.
To set both foundation and concealer, I use the Covergirl Professional loose powder and apply it with a Younique "Powder Puff" brush.

Using the Younique "Blusher Brush" and the NYC 'Sun N' Bronze" bronzer, I slightly contour my cheek bones to give them a more defined look.
Now for the blush, which adds a sassy and vibrant springy look, I use the Elf blush brush and apply the Revlon "Racy Rose" to the apples of my cheeks. The bright pink of the blush is a nice compliment to the pink eyeshadow.

My favorite part of makeup is the lipstick. I love finding new and exciting colors to try on and I love blending a simple lip color and a brighter, more daring color to create a unique a unique color that shows off your personality.
For this spring makeup look, I blend the Maybelline "Ravishing Rose" #670 from their matte lip colors with the Maybelline "Mesmerizing Magenta" #680, also from their matte lip color collection. The two lip colors combined gives a flirty soft, yet bold lip and balance out the bright-softness of the lip and cheek makeup.
